Located in the delta plains, the coastline of El Prat de Llobregat spans 8 kilometres. The natural spaces of the Llobregat delta are ecological gems that still conserve biological communities typical of coastal sands, the Delta marshes being one of Catalonia’s last remaining coastal wetlands.
The town hall –a Neogothic building dating from 1905-, the Municipal Market, the Teatre Modern, the Muntadas and Balcells towers and the Puig houses are some of the other attractions of El Prat de Llobregat, together with the Festa Major (September) and the Poultry Fair (December), which focuses on the renowned Prat breed chicken (pota blava or blue foot)
